dunno if there is video of the first plane strike. It didn't take me long to open my mind to the idea of no planes though...
Once I started to think about the scale of the con job that is required to maintain this illusion it seemed reasonable to ask... If I was responsible for delivering this project would I want to have its success hinging on a couple of aircraft piloted by amateurs hitting and penetrating dead on target? I certainly wouldn't be happy carrying that risk. My caveat is that I'm not certain on this issue but one thing that I do know about military operations is that they are at their best when doing something that has been done many times before, either in training or in previous wars... It's the same in martial arts (which I have done quite a bit of) because when people are in the midst of a life and death situation the finer nuances of our mental capacities literally shut down and we struggle to do anything unless we've been trained to do it... that's why martial arts are based on repetition... repeat, repeat, repeat and then you stand a chance of acting when faced with a real situation. So it's entirely logical to me that a military operation such as this would need prior testing in order to demonstrate a credible likelihood of success in when required in the field... You need to know that something is going to work and they've got plenty of testing to show the penetration and accuracy of all of their guided missiles but absolutely no full scale testing of what a couple of Boeings will do to a couple of steel and concrete skyscrapers.... So in my view any evidence of video tampering has an immediate credibility boost for that reason.
