Hi Reno, the ask for 300 to buy in at $2k isn’t the cause for delay, HNR could easily have gone straight to it months ago but shareholders would then be buying blind. Instead they’ve gone to trading halt whilst they get ducks in a row, hopefully lining up conditional contracts prior to asking shareholders to part with their cash.
They're not gun pointing it’s an ASX requirement, I’d rather buy in knowing there’s deals lined up than buy in blind and do deals later, easy to get impatient and have a pop at management but these things take time so let’s see what news we get once they’re ready to Ann, hopefully prior to the buy in, Loop.
