Citi analysts have taken the opportunity to highlight that overall activity levels as far as corporate advisory and equity placements are concerned remains subdued, and February certainly was no exception.
Macquarie management's guidance for profit in H1 this year to be in line with H1 last year suggests downside risks to Citi's current projections. But the analysts are not making any changes just yet.
They'll meet with management and decide what to do next after that.
