Growth does not need to be from acquisitions, but the latest company announcement includes the following:
Given its strong financial position, the Company has been in discussions with
various parties about various future growth opportunities and potential
acquisitions.
They are already in discussions which include potential acquisitions.
I agree that the Tigerway decline needs to be a priority, but it seems clear they more than enough funds to complete this and have funds left over.
Yes Medusa does have spare production capacity - the E15 shaft was meant to be 'transformative' and increase ounces mined per year but sadly this never happened. Hopefully Tigerway will Improve operations and increase mine life.
I would prefer that they focus on increasing current mine life, explore / develop the newly acquired Queensland assets (I would rather they hadn't purchased them but we are now stuck with them) and apart from that return money to shareholders.
