Thank you for the kind words @able77, @dgoodwin and @BrucieKibbutz. Glad to hear that what seems obvious to me resonates with others. Am also glad to hear other holders' perspectives and experiences. Cheers.

@4hrworkweek and @Bruiser 1 Last night I was not comparing the ASX listed company LPD with the company CXO. I was citing the most recent capital raise from my portfolio's holdings as an example of companies' price actions pre raise, which so far has been identical.

    Correcting your inaccuracies above, @4hrworkweek:

    • No, CXO do not yet have a revenue stream. Their first DSO shipment is scheduled for this quarter.
    • No, CXO have not consolidated their 2B shares.
    • Yes, CXO were "trying to raise money in highly uncertain economic times like now." They completed it only last week.
    • No, CXO did not begin its rise in the early Covid days of 2020, the same as LPD. Both companies' share prices lifted at the beginning of 2021.
    • Suggesting LPD "has barely had any news" indicates you haven't read our quarterly reports or announcements.
    • Referring to CXO's assets to "dream of," financials and fundamentals: if the ASX is a fair and even playing field, why has CXO's market cap through much of 2022 been the same as LTR's, when CXO's resource is 1/10th the size of LTR's? CXO continue to drill and will produce before LTR, but still that is quite a discrepancy.
    • I agree with you on one thing: "I don't think you can compare these two companies at all." As @Klaxon, @fnqricko and @sponge_ have already pointed out, one company digs rocks out of the ground, while the other's patented, novel tech is boldly establishing an industry first. If Lepidico's only measure was monetising our resource, we are miles beyond most other contemporary "lithium miners." Karibib is pretty much good to go, if we were simply loading our lepidolite onto ships bound for China.

A small clarification to my post last night: "Surprise, surprise" was referring to the identical percentage drop in share price for both LPD and CXO's capital raises, not to what I expect will be our eventual day in the sun. smile.png Tomorrow may not be so sunny across the board however, with the high US CPI numbers that just came in. Tin hats, everyone.
