Scientologists believe we are descended from the souls of Aliens in a volacano or something like that. Christians believe that Jesus was born of a virgin birth. Buddhist believe in reincarnation. Hindus have loads of Gods. Muslims believe in 42 virgins if they die in the cause of Islam. These are more or less my understanding but could have got the number of virgins wrong. Indigineous Australians also have a number of strange, to me, beliefs about dreamtime etc
Now, to me, all the above sound pretty wild and unlikely. Question is whose job is it to determine what is a kosher (excuse the pun) religion and what is not kosher? Are we not moving down the path to authoritarianism where the Government starts to decide a real religion against a fake religion?
