    It may be your reality !Scotty but not mine. I do not have the slightest doubt there will be a mix, which EVs will be part of. You already know the sort of EV I would buy and the conditions thereby. I have stated that many times. So I will have an EV and my trusty V6 petrol Ute. (Hopefully, the future will see a H2 powered Ute) But it will be Gas, Benzine, or Hydrogen.

    As I am now off to the club for Crickey and dinner, I would love to hop into my 2 person sub-mini EV. We are pricing them out of the market. Would I love to make my Ute a FWD, with hub-motors on both front wheels. Wouldn't it go! There is plenty of room under the tray for batteries. Once again. I find Lithium batteries too dangerous. Newer technologies will phase them out for sure. Just like Li batteries are phasing out Lead-acid for many applications.
