After reading about ewere's post and thinking on it, it occurred to me that there may possibly be one very good reason why the US and Aussie Governments haven't allowed anything that resembled MST tech out there!

Remember when I posted long ago now, that I thought that metalstorm technology could possibly be used in Railgun technology because of it precise firing system, well this idea goes further?
Like I said I have been thinking on it, and it dawned on me that something else may be in play here, and it may be the very reason why everything about metalstorm has been thwarted and for very good reason? it has everything to do with National Security, some time ago now at an AGM I was running an idea past George Bergeron, it was an idea I had about extending the use of mach 5/50 tech beyond the barrel,
in that discussion, George said something to me that went straight over my head at the time, what he said was, what I was proposing was similar to a trigger for an atomic weapon??? this is where the plot thickens? because when you consider it, if you got two barrels of a mach 5/50 weapon and welded them together facing each other, then basically you have a very cheap trigger, if you used the right material in the projectiles for an atomic weapon, this may be our nemises and the reason why they fear that the technology may proliferate!

I hope I am wrong, but this would explain a hell of a lot!
