But is Appen really cheap?
- EBITDA guideline for FY22 is US$13-18M
- Given how horrible they've been reading their business outlook, you have to take the low end to be safe
- At FX of say 0.68, that's A$19.1M
- Current market cap is A$323.4M.
- So trading on an EBITDA multiple of almost 17x
- Moved from being a high-margin growth business to a low-margin non-growth
Pretty sure it's getting sells slapped on it because it's not cheap. Don't make the mistake of trying to compare market cap with revenue, in 2022 literally nobody cares about revenue
