Q. for the IVR holders: Are you still buying mining stocks (Ag / Au / other miners) or are you being safe and you've backed off because of what we all know will shall soon pass (i.e. the major market leg down)?
Personally, I'm maybe throwing 15-20% of my investing funds into stocks and the other 80% into metals.
I've been thinking - what if they take down the systems?....they take it down and all our funds and digital investments get locked up ......the OSKO takedown shows how vulnerable things are....I was at 99 Bikes buying a bike rack and they told me the payment system was down....I quickly Googled and saw that the main system OSKO was lights out....anyway, I headed to the bank and not only drew out $500 for the rack but nearly all of my savings....here's the surreal part ----> standing in the local GSB branch bank with a few tradies and oldies and what-not, everyone with the same issue, trying to get cash....everyone was non-chalant and laxadcial, esp the staff.......I literally had this vision of this local branch with people queued for hundreds of meters trying to get their cash out....they would wipe out the cash at those branches within an hour.....guys, there is no chance you will get your money out of these banks if the bank holidays come. The money is as good as gone.
Btw - for Osko to go down, they would have had to trip several technical risk circuit breakers for that system to go offline
