good point dui never thought of it like that wonder if the parents of those kids who went to war thought they were going to die? i reckon a lot of them would have thought along the lines that not all soldiers get killed, so there is probably a good chance the child might come back alive
i had a mate who's brother went to duntroon and was killed in vietnam the mate became really antisocial as result probably was anyway but I dont think parents sacrifice there kids intentionally they sort of think of it as gamble in which they think they will work out ok for them in the end
