I would suggest you are letting the cynic in you take over! Its understandable given the circumstances but a nice green day of 10% gain is never a bad thing so maybe this is the market waking up to an imminent announcement that could get dropped any day. I'm hopeful AS will announce the big news before the end of this month and not leave it to a quarterly update.
Side note, 1987 crash happened on Monday 19 October which could spook the US markets tomorrow night. Hopefully smooth sailing after that.
