It looks like the verdict is in. EV's and not FCEV's (Fuel Cell EV's, Hydrogen) are the way forward for the next few decades. They will continue to push for heavy transport FCEV, but as we know, it is way too expensive to build, maintain and run currently. Hydrogen efficiency is very low. The Australian semi's being trialed with drop in batteries appear to be a better alternative, especially on the main truck routes along the east coast. I just cannot see any drop in demand coming. If the worldwide recession picks up pace and EV demand drops (unlikely to any degree, IMO), the wider transport industry will have more access to the Lithium, as will ESS. There just ain't enough.
