as happy as probably everyone else here looking at an analysis saying PLS could reach $15 per share, I have to point out some misleading assumptions used in that analysis
PE is Share Price over Earnings Per Share, FMG, BHP, RIO are trading at a PE around 6.
6 is a reasonable number, for a PE, not for a EBITDA/MC ratio in that analysis
with 1,000,000 tons production as 5,000 per ton, revenue is 5 billion, about 60% goes to the bottom line (this is from 2022 annual report numbers) earnings is 3 billion, PLS has about 3 billion shares, hence earnings per share is 1, with a share price of $15, this gives a PE of 15, I would never expect PLS to be traded at a PE of 15. letting alone anything higher.
as much as I wanted to see a share price of $15, let's not get too much ahead of ourselves,
maybe I should say i would love to see a share price of $15 per share, but not using those assumptions in that top-liked analysis
this was what I had after the BMX pre-auction result
