Hi all, so first things first, I have been gradually buying back in thought it would be at 15c+ but happily scooping up anything I can at 14.5. Was fortunate enough to invest half of what I sold in EXR in QXR when I saw Steve Promnitz had been appointed so enjoyed that pump from 3.5 to 9c...

Anyway, I digress, the last couple of months I have reexamined why I invested in EXR in the first instance and what I think the next 6 months or so could bring.

When doing my initial research I was amazed to find that NY went to the same Uni and studied the same degree as I did, exactly 10 years apart (83-87 as opposed to 93-97). He also comes from Scottish Presbyterian stock like myself, which sounds trivial but to me it meant 3 things:

    1. He was unlikely to ever resort to hyperbole

    2. Any money raised would be spent wisely

    3. He would work tirelessly to maximise the potential of the business

The conservative background is, of course, a double edged sword and I am frequently frustrated that we haven't got our remarkable 3 fold story out there.

Second guessing NY what I believe will be the sequence of events he and the team are working for is:

    1. We formalize our relationship with SoftBank either just before or just after Xmas. This will bring alot of foreign interest and will freshen up the register. Depending on the nature of the JV I see us forming an SP base between 36-50c depending on how many bail when we hit the CR price.

    2. We have something definitive on the commerciality or otherwise or the gas flow by mid to late Feb. Provided this proves successful a dollar sign goes in front of the SP within a matter of months.

    3. Just as the above is starting to calm down we have some real meat on the bones in QLD.

There is no doubt the past year has been incredibly frustrating for all SH a frustration clearly shared by NY as reflected in his body language in the last preso, BUT I did note a clear change of language in the last update and whilst my faith did waiver I am really bullish about the next 6-12 months.

Nothing has changed, whilst it seems fanciful atm there really is no reason why we can't be at anything from $5 to $10 by mid 2024, depending on whether the hydrogen business remains part of the core or not.

Anyway, very glad to be back in the fold, will continue to buy til I get to the 2.5million mark.

As ever, GLTAH and all very much IMO.
