This is not building a new mine - it is re opening a mothballed mine with all infrastructure in place including rail, prep plant, workshops, etc - the trucks and excavators have been maintained so minimal work is required to start production
It is disgusting this took so long but the govt has now realized how much money in royalties it can receive from coal prices above $300/tonne
At long last common sense prevails - only took over 10 years
