Bear in mind it will cost a few bob to get the mine up and running (de-watering, re-commissioning).
On the plus side given the resource rush of '07 has abated somewhat, they should be able to negotiate more favorable deals on labour and equipment leases, should they decide to re-open the mine.
Or they could just sell the mine(s) - i am wondering what the situation is with the PIO Ni JV on the Kambalda tenements. Is there a "drill it or lose it" provision there - or have PIO earned in for good???
