I’ve been interested in the many comments spruiking a 20 or 30 year mine life. No doubt the bigger resource and longer mine life the better, in general. But I’d have thought increasing our tonnage would have been far more attractive? NPV and all that. Wouldn’t we be considerably better off getting more product to market faster, even if it meant in round numbers doubling the production and halving the mine life? What am I missing there?

I wouldn’t like to be too invested in lithium mining in 2052. Apart from the fact I probably won’t make it that far, the Borg may well have assimilated us all by then.
