The first thing to say is that I have never used the fact that I am Jewish to give credence to any of my arguments. The matter came up in one of our discussions.

In my opinion, nothing could be further from the truth. I and many like me are of the view that the end does not justify the means. We are part of the Jewish heritage. How can we possibly desire to see it die?

Your "heritage" most likely will either just die a natural death or be assimilated to god knows where.
You know almost zilch about our values...our customs....you participate in none of them...and you believe in none of them...after all...you're an athiest...and our heritage is built around a god.

When we were being rubbished by some really vile a r s e holes right here on HC....you never ever rebutted them. In fact your silence and your smug comments added fuel to their vitriol, maybe unintentionally on your part, but that was the outcome.

Hoepfully it won't be the end of the line as far as their sympathies lie as far as other Jews are concerned...but if they've heard you bag Israel...and keep silent when Sharon is compared to Hitler...then I figure they'll be the first ones to distance themselves from Jews...by becoming bigger anti Israel/Jews then you are....
That's a lesson that history has taught us well....
And us means...those of us who identify with Israel....comprehend the difficulties she faces and stand by her in her hour of need.
