"The Company will provide an update to the market once the wireline evaluation is complete." - see ASX news release 17 Oct 2022.

Not sure why there is confusion about timing of the next news release given the above?

Looking at my calendar if they were just about to hit horizon 200 on the 17th, then add another 10 days to get to 2,200m, then another 5 days to do the wireline logging, then that takes us to the first week of November when we can expect to see some results announced.

If the measuring/logging while drilling tool is broken / not working then they won't have any meaningful information to report as they drill through the various hydrocarbon zones - this also means there will be little/no information to leak! They might get a drilling break or have hydrocarbon shows in the drilling mud but that's probably the only indication they might get.

For those of you who are hardcore and are playing the whale at Upper Angwa, SM said it would take a week to case the hole at 2,200m and then 10 days to drill to 3,500m, then 3-5 days for wireline logging. So probably late November for Upper Angwa results would be my best guess and that's when we will see $$$$ imho.
