    Sorry to clarify I meant Opex cost is inversely correlated to lithium concentration . The higher the concentration the lower your opex cost and vice versa . The other key ratio is ratio of Mg to Lithium . Again Galan is much lower ratio . The ratio measures in crude terms how much chemical work you need to do in order to get the lithium out and concentrate it relative to the impurities your also removing .

    The higher the mg to lithium ratio the more chemical work required so that in turn requires more capex and opex again . That’s why grade is king as it drives capex and opex costs .

    Now if you have this holy grail of a dle tech that Lake claim to have you throw that equation upside down in theory . Whether they actually have it remains to be seen . But in the absence of this holy grail , this sort of resource will be probably be mid field in terms of capex and opex costs . But honestly if the world is as short of lithium as some suggest and prices stay way above 30000 usd per tonne in the long run , who cares , this resource will still likely be very valuable .
