1.7 is standard across the board, I have been involved with a major Decline at 1.6, but much steeper and you end up with a haulage issue as well as other compounding problems. Suited the Mine to get to Ore source quicker, did this for 2 levels then tapered back to 1.7 down.
Will be interesting to see the Dimensions to MCO Decline as Im sure PHB will want to utilise as an Exhaust at some stage as the Mine gets Deeper as I dont think the Shaft will accomadate Vent flows at deep levels? I would imagine it would be a 4mW x 4.5mH minimum, IMO
