There is no material difference between the two announcments.

I realise that one says negotiations and the other doesnt.

Two explanations are probable.

One is that CTP rang the ASX and said words to the effect " we are sending you a request for trading halt as we are currently negotiating a capital rasining" and the operator typed up a notice reflecting that situation which was then follwed by a slightly differently worded letter from CTP.

Nothing turns on it becase it is implied that "negotiations" are taking place " either with someone wanting to place some money or "discussing " the terms of the CR.

It really is clutching at straws to latch onto every inconsistancy and not focus on the reason for the CR.

Grange I know you didnt make any negative comments, just responding to your particular post.
