As a result, governments like that of the Netherlands are now seeking to shut down farms. IF companies will need to start looking at alternative sources of protein such as cockroaches, mealworms and other insects which are more environmentally friendly. Farming practices of the past are no longer sustainable given the current level of world population. IF companies like BUB will need to start making this shift sooner than later in order to have a first mover advantage.
