No but I think it is a matter of perspective.
Let’s say you have been one of the top few percent taxpayers for most of your working life, and paid more tax than the average person earns each year. On top of that paid 5 figures in the Medicare levy each year to only go to the dr once or twice a year.
You put yourself into a position of self funding retirement through a disciplined and hardworking life, won’t be receiving any pension or handouts after all the tax and contributions you have made to society. And you think getting some franking credits back is a bit much to ask.
