lack of trust and confidence in management in a stable jurisdiction like Aus is a really big issue. No one will throw hard earned in spec companies when they don’t trust management.
we’ve gone from a market darling to the cellar and it’s not all market sentiment. It’s management. Predominately MD but a waffling board who doesn’t take accountability is also an issue. They are paid a sh$t tonne compared to peers and no alignment of performance to remuneration.
such a shame we had it all right In front of us and their arrogance and hubris screwed us all right in the B-hind.
I don’t have answers but it’s untennable who can trust them. And once trust is broken u can’t unbreak it.
