Realists amongst us knew very well that Labor’s extravagant promises were absurd! Energy markets and world conditions are extremely volatile and it’s shear stupidity to make such promises and forecasts. But that’s what a desperate opposition does when it wants to get back into government. Why should anyone be surprised about how this has ended up? Too many big problems ahead to think we will ever get out of the woods anytime soon.
