I am invested in Tesla as well and have been doing sone in-depth research . The lithium that we currently control (and whilst we still fight for it we effectively control it as it is denied to others ) is so valuable because of these major downstream companies . There is a huge global battle unfolding . Tesla vs the prc companies with the Germans and Toyota entering strongly to add to the tension. China is both hungry for massive amount of domestic lithium plus lithium around the globe to support its battery and carmaking behemoths . Tesla manufacturing costs are so out in front that not only are they growing by 50% YOY but they are maintaining margins of at least 30%. BYD by comparison are matching with ramp-up but have no margin without state support . Other manufacturers are in the slip stream . This is why securing lithium is critical across the globe . China know (or should do) that Tesla will run away with not only the whole ev manufacture but the whole electric storage revolution ( as they are integrating not only their own battery manufacture but now intend to do same with mines and hydroxide processing ) if they don’t do something and quick . Control of lithium globally is the only fighting chance they have . Catl and byd must be despairing of Zijen and company . The Manono lithium is truly massive and high quality and can be developed into the biggest , cheapest , best quality supply for the next 30 years at least (and don’t forget the tin) . The non-Tesla brigade need it like oxygen to survive . It’s actually a geopolitical resource . Whilst zijen and AVZ and drc(apparently ) can wait for the spat to resolve , Catl and byd and Chinese green industries can’t when Tesla is around and growing quicker than musks hair.

our NF and team know all this. They are as astute as 10. They have outwitted the huge forces surrounding them when they had nothing and now they are doing the same again . IMO. RAF forgets all this . There is a world of difference between the panic and speculation on the boards and the AVZ mgmt plan and networks.

so I say, leave your AVZ in very , very capable hands . wait the wait without unnecessary fear . Accept delay as screw-turning , not impending doom. PRC objectives overrule their technical and leading edge company’s ambitions - but they are also the “vehicle”for the PRCs ambitions (and they know it) . My money is on the Zijiin (and any other contra parties) eventually having to begrudgingly yield . The geo-political elastic band is very thick and stretchy but it’s approaching it’s last year of elasticity . Mark my words . There will be satisfactory resolution in readiness for a 2023 project start . Otherwise everyone loses and Tesla wins , unless if course Tesla put everyone out their misery and buy and develop the whole shooting match - and develop new civil engineering machinery to accompany their boring machine and totally disrupt that sector as well

AIMHO. I’m not worried at all . Feel sorry for the stranded . They’ll get their money back and sone in due course . Shorters might just be justified in regretting their positions , that’s if they’re still in business with the interest payments having to be made . Like building your own gallows .
