You have no idea what that software is or what that screen means. You have made a huge assumption that the audio bit depth was 5 bits. This is almost certainly wrong. Snorah Jones would not be recognisable at all at 5bits. I do a lot of audio recording using various software tools. There are many audio effects that crush the bit rate and they are extreme effects they don't just add a noise floor.
