Problem is, all the existing participants are used to having it their way and cannot bring themselves to accept the new world. The new world being the miner has the upper hand in negotiations. The OEM's same. Used to having suppliers on the rack, unable to accept the price of things. Too bad, they had their chance to get in early and they missed it.
I think Elon and Co really believed their own BS about Lithium is everywhere.
