Are you sure on that? Isn’t there some mines that have grain size of lithia and/or other impurities which render them unsuitable for battery chemical conversion? There’s a couple of news articles of late (particularly from out of a few smaller operations in Africa) where BOD members are quoted saying they can’t make battery quality spod but can make technical grade.
