Hey skribbler, if it was for other financial reasons then usually an announcement would state just that, e.g. drilling will cease due to other financial commitments, or drilling may recommence pending funding arrangements. The way in which it was delivered to the market does not imply that there was any other reason to cease drilling other than there not being any viability in the well for the company drilling.
It is unfortunate for all involved. Perhaps Simon could clarify, as the announcement has already been made there would be no conflict in stating what there reasons were for withdrawing.
