The way HC is going, it's going to be around for a very long time!!!
Over the past couple of years, while some posters weren't aware of it (or chose to ignore it) HC has been been working hard to gain & maintain respectability.
Thank you HC Admin for providing this platform for us to benefit from others' knowledge. "Others" being thousands of experienced traders & investors across Australia.
We've still got a long way to go to get rid of the rampers etc, but perhaps they're a necessary evil that we just have to learn to live with - as long as we're able to recognise their characteristics.
Devilmaycare, you shouldn't be worried about robbbbbbb being idolised. But I see (a la your other comments) you may be insinuating that he could just as easily be a crook .
Well, I've got to stand up for Robbbbbbb here. He doesn't tell people what to do. He doesn't spread rumours, he doesn't show imaginary things on charts, he doesn't push his own barrow, etc. etc. I could go on and on.
He reads charts as he sees them and I have to tell you, my trading success has improved immensely since following his weekend charting videos from several months back. His observations of movements on the charts have highlighted how little I was seeing before. If you're a skeptic, you'd better go back and check out weekend charting threads for the last 8 months or so - and don't forget to look at the weekly and monthly charts while you're at it.
Some people like to say that the charts don't tell the future, but there's a lot we can learn from the past.
For me RSI is one of the best indicators I've come across (and I remember at one stage noticing that I was the only one who seemed to use this indicator). It tells me when the trend is up, despite the chart going down, i.e. it highlights divergence.
As Selmax used to say, HC is "the best thing since sliced bread".
I hope to still be here on HC in 10 years' time :-)
And don't anyone dare say a word against robx7 again or I will have a lot more to say!
