Asciano to have bond release(s) in the coming year with a $500M issue on the cards for later this year, so they will be reducing their reliance on the banks for capital.

Both US and European investors have been reported to be keen to invest in the bond issues and this will take the timeframes to reorganise the debt from a 2 and a half year timeframe to 4 or 5 years.
