    Sungar,

Im not sure how you see that CGV are contradicting themselves? A little research will easily solve the problem. Having talked to the company my understanding is that these QLD coal sites can still potentially be used for UCG purposes. But CGV cant change the QLD governments attitude toward UCG, so in the likely event that the QLD government dont allow the commercialization of UCG in the near future the other option for CGV is to sell its coal assets once proven up. That is my understanding. With a close link to Clive Palmer on CGV's board there are many possibilities. Extract from JV ann below stating they will continue to "develop" its QLD coal assets. What they actually do with them will be decided later.

"CGE has chosen to pursue its first commercial project in Victoria due to the
unlikelyhood of any commercial UCG project/s in Queensland in the near future
due to the State Governments UCG policy. CGE will continue to develop its
Queensland coal assets with the first stage of the drilling program due to
    commence soon."

Sungar said; What have CGV achieved aside from 'plans' and 2 Mou's anyway?

Mate your obviously passionate about your CXY but CGV has only been listed for barely 5 months! What do you expect?? If we were to compare CGV in three years time to where CXY is now I think you might be a liitle surprised. 2 MOU's? A lot more than that mate but wont go into it in detail. But you can start with 2 JV's that are progressing well, the GPP JV will be finalised soon but the China JV is fully established.

I think many dont relise how quickly CGV are planning to have their JV UCG pilot plant up and running in Vic? The ann didnt really give a lot away there but you'll be surprised imo. Lets see anyway??

What many dont realise to is that CGV dont need to sign any MOU's to aquire UCG technology for their use as per your first point on CXY. They already HAVE the technology within their team. Though and note this they can work with others to use their technology. They will do this with their China JV which will make them cash flow positive by the end of this year without any other opportunities arising before that time?? Interesting to see??

Sungar I dont think you really know CGV, the board, team ect. Dont get messed up in your love for CXY and what you think CGV cant or will not be able to do. Sure there is work ahead but the experience they have on board is indisputable imo. And this is experience in the UCG and related fields, not general mining experience.

As far as a CR one is not likely for a while and I dont see the big problem, thats what companies do!! They raise money to progress in their business plan! Its been happening for years. But there is much water to pass under the bridge before CGV raises money again and how they do that might even surprise. If they managed to raise $6M oversubsrcibed at 20c on the basis of "2 MOU's" what might they be able to do next??

Bob, Dex, why wouldn't DR Michael Green's CRIP technology be an improvement upon the UCG progress? Boy if anyone waited until the the final outcome to see if any technology was an improvement we would all be waiting as no one has yet commercialised UCG in this country at least. We do know it seems to make sense and I would hardly call a Euro 17m European trial a "small trial burn".

"CGEs UCG technology uses an advance process known as Controlled
Retractable Injection Points (CRIP) which provides greater control and efficiency
in the UCG process. The CRIP UCG process was successfully trialled in a E17m
European trial in Spain which was headed by CGEs Technical Director, Dr.
Michael Green. Dr. Green has continued to advance the CRIP technology which
he is currently implementing in commercial projects throughout the UK and
Europe. Dr. Green is a globally recognised leading authority on UCG"

Good luck to CXY imo you cant dispute the rise in the sp in the last little bit I wish I had jumped on but you cant dispute the fact that CGV have the team and experience to make it in the coming years. If you think your gonna get it cheaper than it is I'll be very surprised but GL. It will be interesting to see what happens in this UCG space in the coming years.
    DYOR
    Cheers

    Chris
