I raised a couple of questions at the webinar.

    1. Sourcing water from the Colorado river. The Colorado River System as a whole is at 34 percent of its peak capacity in 2022, down from 40 percent last year.

I gave BBB full marks on his response, he’s confident with Anson’s progress on obtaining water rights, more importantly he had a plan B being desalination of the brine.

While I didn’t raise the question on Government Grants, reading between the lines, I suspect Anson has applied for a US Government loan to fund construction under the $US17 billion Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing Loan program which the US government is using to speed up both the production of EVs. With this being the case I don’t believe Anson can apply for further Government Grants.

    2. When it comes to mining licences, Regulatory Frameworks and Policy Pertinent to Lithium Extraction. The US has “lengthy, costly, and inefficient permitting process”, BBB failed in his response and mumbled his way through my question on community consultation and engagement. His lack of knowledge and attention to what I see as Anson’s biggest risk “permits” raised cause for concern. BBB answered along the lines of saying the Utah government are good at giving mining permits…………

Anson Paradox Basin Brine Project Site includes prime farmland, and lands with Wilderness Characteristics, Scenic Highway and Visual Resource lands and National Park Service lands, Special Recreation Management lands, a State Park, a Conservation Easement, a National Scenic Trail, and lands on the National Register of Historic Places.

DLE is a big winner here, it has a smaller environmental impact than either surface mining or evaporative extraction. It results in less land disturbance and less water use with our brine being extracted from deep aquifers that are disconnected from freshwater aquifers, surface waters, and vegetation.

A good article worth reading titled “Utah’s unique role in clean energy: Why the state’s access to rare earth minerals matters” provides some insight on Utah Government state of mind on clean energy mines. link below.

With regards to the of some great market announcement for all shareholders to look forward to, if I was BBB I’d release the JORC upgrade to the market on 29th November, BBB knows why…..
