I consider this a particularly negative article.
This sort of comment on the DRC government being out of control and lacking the command and indeed the will to control the situation is extremely damaging to potential AVM investors.
Once again - the only type of investor this sort of news will attract is the high risk - in and out - quick profit bull. There is no comfort in this for article for long term AVM holders.
Until we see stability in the Congo or at least true progress toward this from a government bent on economic and political reform, AVM will never reflect the true value in its share price.
I hold stoically in the hope the same.
I firmly believe it is we, the firm believers in the company and its management - not the institutions that have dictated to the greater degree the price of this stock. I hope like all that we shall be rewarded.
