If you invest based on what you think governments may or may not do you will never make any money.
If investors had of worried about that during the last mining and energy boom they would have been left behind.
The message we should all be hearing regarding this political scrutiny is that energy prices are going to stay higher for longer, and there is not going to be sufficient supply coming online in the short to medium term.
Sounds like a buy to me.
