My understanding is that STO have forecast 1200 terajoules per day requirement for two LNG trains. If I've got my numbers correct I estimate that to be about 11 million standard cubic feet per day. So I think the concern for STO for a 2 train (or more) project is not neccessarily having the reserves (which of course is important) but the FLOW rates to support the project.
Consider also David Knox's dream of a 5 train site. That is an awful lot of gas to be flowing at any SINGLE point in time and probably goes a long way to explaining the need for the proposed storage facility to feed the project.
So far there has been some conjecture as to whether STO definitely have the gas to support 2 trains (it has been suggested by a few analysts that this could also be hampering their efforts to sign new customers), but I'll leave that dilema for somebody else to solve.
I hope ESG's flow rates are mind blowing.
