Page 4 of The 2009 annual report suggests that silcon offtake will depend upon feasability study for the construction of a smelter.

This was Sep 09.

Maybe feasability analysis was/is expected to be completed by Q1 2010.

Discussions have been taking place since 4th Quarter 2008.
Surely they should know by now if there is a market for the stuff.

Going by the BRR in Feb 2010 he didn't even mention Silica Project.

This company is all about the aluminium and why I have invested.

I hoped that a deal could / would be done regarding silica just to insulate the SP from any unforseen problems regarding Aluminium as well as fund any further expansion.

Time will tell but as far as I am concerned now, Its time for management to "Put up" or "Shut Up" about a silica deal.

Reports from papers and politicians IMO not a good look as far as Communication to the market.
