The market is forward looking.
Nobody expects coal to be at these prices forever.
Therefore you must factor in lower coal prices into the future and then do a DCF analysis.
I am not suggested that YAL is a value trap at these share prices, only that one needs to be very careful extrapolating current EV/EBITDA as a single means to value a cyclical company.
