Another electric pickup truck is in the making, the electric version of the Ram 1500 model, which is the #2 best selling full-size pickup truck model in the US alongside the Ford F-150 at #1, Chevrolet Silverado at #2.
A prototype with the body of the current model has already been photographed.
The concept version will be unveiled in January at the CES (Consumer electronics show). The pproduction version on the market in 2024. Stellantis CEO Tavares emphasized that they would incorporate the learnings from earlier released competitor models like the Ford F.150 Lightning, Chevrolet Silverado EV, Rivian R1T or Tesla Cybertruck. The Ram 1500 electrick pickup truck will sit on a dedicated electric platform.
