Well yes, and I was sorry to see Axel leave the Board, but Imugene has moved on regardless.

I think Axel's advice was very good 7 years ago, when all they had was Her-vaxx, and the IMU of today is in an incredibly stronger position than the IMU of way back then.

Overnight, another brief Yuman Fong interview has hit the net, from a USA TV station. He talks about CF33, but I'm sure he is also referencing the version of CF33 now known as OnCARlytics. It's a short media article, with an embedded video clip. Low on detail, but very high on confidence. I quote:

"We are convinced that, by having this virus, we will not only be able to directly attack the cancer and stimulate our immune system, but we will be able to partner with other agents that also do that, and together grow therapies for cancers that until now have no treatment."

Sure - we await the outcomes of the Phase 1 trials with Checkvacc and Vaccinia, but we know the safety is looking good, and although he can't explicitly say anything until the trials are complete, Yuman will certainly have some idea about efficacy already. I think that's what is behind the first part of his statement. The second half - about partnering with other agents to "grow therapies for cancers that until now have no treatment" - that has to be a reference to OnCARlytics.

If Yuman is "convinced" - that's sounds very good to me.

I'm hoping to hear him say its in person at the upcoming Sydney event. By then, with the three presentations at the SITC conference, we will know a lot more.
