re: Ann: Proposal for Acquisition of Minority... I posted on this stock a couple of times earlier this year after noticing some "weird movements". It seemed to me to be a takeover of sorts developing with the usual dumping/manipulation going on so a cheap minority buyout could be managed with the well-worn "Oh shucks guys it has traded between blah blah blah so we'll do you a favour and take you out of your misery" angle.

As a disappointed holder of a couple of thou when they were around $1 it made sense to go in for a whole lot more based on those weird trading signals. Thankfully I did between 19c and 21c which has more than recovered losses. In fact a happy ending to a sad story. However I believe the value is a lot higher than 35c. And as for director independance - give us a break.

Do not know much about pharma in Asia/Australasia but I would doubt that there was an alternate bidder in the wings given the existing control.

Any thoughts from posters here who could derail this sweetheart deal?
