Well if you are going to assume that the free options will be exercised, then I think it's also fair to assume that they will be in the money. So ineffect they will again be able to buy shares below the market price. Unlike the one's that missed out
As for not understanding "Deferred" This is another example of how a financial adviser could help you understand the meaning and how to read financial reports.
Because IMO again your assumption is misguided.
