As an experiment can you go to your wife/partner and extended family and explain to them why you think it's a good idea if the west didn't support Ukraine and just allowed Russia to take over the entire territory, also mention that Russia is winning because they're hitting cities with Iranian drones and cruise missiles.
I'll do the same with mu family but why I think it's important for the West to support Ukraine in their fight against being under the control of Putin's regime and how its a terrible situation for average Russians.

Then we'll report back on what our partners/family thinks.
