Porphyry usually have mineralization like a balloon around these fingers, so I expect more of the same, depending on whether its a big finger or a little finger. Its not giving us the bird. (lol). SPQ also said they found the outer rim of the intrusions. So I guess, and it depends on assay zones to speculate on tonnage - its all minable in what they have found so far. As you say if they know the area, as denoted by long drills, then with a porphyry system they don't need the infill drilling which I alluded to before when I talked about the economic modelling straight up. Its likely grades, given its a porphyry area, are predictable too on what they have already found. This is the very point the market missed unless you have some geological understanding too and has enabled those with knowledge to accumulate should they wish to reach their fill.
I quote from a book I have by Professor Stevens and have mentioned before, which demonstrates SPQ have gone about their business correctly.
"Porphyry copper deposits are large and typically mined using surface methods. As such, notable mineralized drill intersections are tens to hundreds of metres in length, start near the surface (in the top 100 metres) ....
-Within the deposit, drill holes should intersect mineralization near surface and define a deposit at least hundreds of metres in size in all dimensions (SPQ have done that).
-Mineralized intersections at depths of 200-400 metres maybe significant if earlier drilling has shown mineralization extends to the near surface, or if the potential to discover near surface mineralization is still possible, (SPQ have found this). They may also be significant if grades are at the high end of the range. (Porphyry grades have been high for that style of deposit in what has been assayed to date, and SPQ has described the workings as transformational. That is not a word used lightly). Some porphyry deposits are mined using underground methods (block carving) and thus deeper intersections may be significant.
-Short, high grade intersections (10-50 metres at the top end of the grade range) can be important to the potential economics of a deposit as they may represent a high grade "core" to an overall larger and lower grade deposit. (Hence why I was interested in the extent of the mineralization envelope or further finger envelopes of the mineralization to get a felling for the economic modelling."
If we look back at the early work, there was extensive stockwork veining which is a dense irregular network of fractures containing mineralization. Collectively veins provide for an economic of mineralization and should be viewed as valuable. This is already proved.
