Papertigger, without the Congo tenaments, Mbalam is going nowhere fast. Why do you think the company has pushed on to drilling Nabeba and engaged an outside party to find strategic partners? It's clear that Mbalam alone doesn't have enough DSO to fully interest possible partners at this stage, it's blatantly clear. All of the CAPEX and price modelling uses figures of around 400mt of DSO in it's calculations, Mbalam currently has around 215mt of DSO reported. Nabeba needs to show it's holding 150mt+ of DSO before any partners put pen to paper. Nabeba is crucial to Mbalam's success, I think you need to consider this.
If you were wanting to sit and wait until Mbalam was up and running before SDL looked at Nabeba, you would have sat there an awful long time.
