Yep. There is an old adage, your first loss is your best loss. They have lost significantly more now and there is no coming back. "Give me you left leg now and i'll stop bashing your head in , until i want your right leg too" is the wrong analogy. A more correct analogy if we are to use the same context, "you have already lost you left leg, do you want to lose you head", there will be no right leg to lose from here.
