Yes Silver Peak ( SP) started at around 400 in the 1960’s and by the 90’s was 300, and today about 170 I think ( mainly due to freshwater inflow reducing grade over time).
I use Silver Peak as it’s lithology seems very similar from MQR latest drilling, even down to the prospective brine zones. Several zones exist at SP, and at Kibby there are several packer sampling points going on.
Apart from grade in the deposit the recoverable lithium is what’s really important. This can be effected by different salts that precipitate out with the lithium. Mg being one.This effects recovery down to maybe only 40%.
So while SP is a lowish grade now ( due to pumping over the decades) compared to other deposits it is reasonably clean ie low impurities.( they’ve been processing it for decades).
